Maddie Sandell is an author/illustrator and former background designer for animation.
She most recently worked on TV adaptations of Captain Underpants and Where’s Waldo for DreamWorks Animation. She has also directed several animated projects, including Mattel’s Monster High: Meet the Ghouls and National Geographic’s, The Greeks.
When she is not dreaming up picture book ideas, she enjoys rock climbing with her husband, and enjoying pastries with her kids in her Danish inspired town, Solvang, California. Her nutty, but sweet goldendoodle adds to the mix.
